Review Benefit Dandelion Powder
Benefit is one of those brands that's not available here in Belgium, sadly :(. When I was in Londen I checked out their blushes, first I was most interested in Coralista but when applied on me it was too much and I didn't like it. When I asked for a more subtle blush, she suggested this Dandelion one for fair skin and I liked it a lot. I didn't buy it that time (as I already bought enough stuff), but kept it in the back of mind. When I saw it listed on a blogsale, I didn't hesitate and ordered it. I got it in december and have already used it quite a lot...
Winner of: 2009 InStyle Magazine - Best Beauty Buys - Best Ballerina Pink Blush
How to apply: sweep the brush across the powder a few times, then tap off any excess. Brush lightly on to the apples of your cheeks in an outward motion. For the final touch, lightly brush all over your complexion.
Tips: for the most natural effect...swirl brush in powder, blow off excess then apply! You can also dust dandelion on cheeks over posietint for a fresh POP of color that lasts for hours.
Why we love it: this classic ballerina pink finishing powder takes your complexion from dull to radiant in an instant...a celeb fave!
What else you need to know: complete with soft, natural-bristle brush. To perk up throughout the day, dust on cheeks or all over complexion. 10.0g Net wt. 0.35 oz.

It has the typical paper packaging, I like the flower on top of it. I'm not a big fan of paper packaging as it tends to wear out easily, this is -for me- the biggest downside to this product. It comes with a cute brush, which is ok to use but I prefer other brushes for my application as they are softer. There's also a plastic cap in it to seperate the brush from the powder itself (you can see it laying underneath the brush if you look closely). A downside is that you can't put this box in your make-up bag, you can't close it completely.
When looking in the box, the product is a pale pink that has some shimmer in it. They say you can use this as an all-over-face-finishing-powder but I wouldn't recommend that. It's a bit too pink and too shimmery for that purpose. It contains 10g, a very decent amount which will last you a long time. I've been using it very often and you can hardly tell it looks any different from the day I got it. The blush also has some kind of flowery scent, it's really light but gives a nice touch to it.

In natural light, this blush gives a nice pale glow - these are a few layers I've put on, it's a really buildable colour. When using the flash, you can easily see the shimmer in the product and the radiance it gives to your skin - when I put this on I skip using a different highlighter as it's not necessary. It retails for about 25euros and I would spend this money on it. I got lucky with the blogsale to buy it, but I think it's worth its price, you get 10g for it in return which is more than other blushes that retail for the same price. If you have fair skin, look into this blush, you won't be dissapointed!

Oeh, mooie blush!
Never Tried this!! looks so pretty!!
Yes it does he Steph, go check it out some time.
Lisa, I already tried SKII Essence, it's listed under my reviews and I disliked the product. It didn't do anything for me and is way too expensive... Good for you that you have more benefit from it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
