EOTD with Avon Cocoa Dreams
In my latest Avon hauling you could see one of their new eyeshadow pallettes called "Cocoa Dreams" which all seemed great workable shades for everyday and everynight. Last week I wore this look to work - a very light simple one.
The eyeshadows are a combination of nude, purple and gold.
And here we have the lovely quad, which if you look at it this could pass for a Chanel quad... Avon definitely knows where to get their luxury from. For starters I used the light purple colour with Sigma E60 all over my eyelid. This colour was a lot sheerer than expected and hardly shows up, it leaves a light satinfinish wherein no purple can be found. As my creasecolour I choose the khakigold colour with Sigma Angled E70 which has more pigment. On the lid it turns out as a gold rather than a khaki colour.
Then I used the light beige colour with Sigma E55 as a highlighter under my brow and in my inner corner, which you can hardly see as it matches my skin tone pretty well. It leaves a very subtle sheen. Afterwards I blended the shades with my Sigma SS217/E25.
Lastly I used Diorshow Iconic mascara on my upper lashes and as an eyeliner the Velvet Touch Liner from Gosh in the colour Brown (I always do half a line as I have quite big eyes in case you're wondering - it suits me better).
I'm eager to try the darker brown colour and hope I won't be disappointed. I'll do a review with proper swatches of the quad soon. Have you tried any Avon quads and what are your thoughts on them?

How to working look
Lately I've been wearing this brown look a lot to work, it has become one of my favourites this fall/winter. I've been using these products (now that I look at it in the pictures, it seems a lot but the look is quick and easy), off course you can use other similar ones to get the same result. Excuse the eye smudges a bit and the fading of my inner corner, took the pictures after a day of work :)

- First off, start with a base: I used Shadow Insurance from Too Faced.
- Then take NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and apply it in the inner corner of your eye, take it towards your moving eyelid, if you want the brown colour that we're going to put there to pop more you can use it all over your lid.
- Take the Sleek Storm Palette and use colour 2 all over your moving eyelid, use colour 3 (I'm loving this colour so much!) in the outer corner and in the crease, use colour 1 as a highlighter under your eyebrows. Blend colour 3 into the other ones.
- Use a browngolden liner below the lashline, I used Avons Supershock liner in browngold.
- Apply mascara on the top lashes, I used Diors Ionic Mascara.
- Finish your brows with a browmousse - I used Tweezerman.

Soft glowy look starring the Naked Palette
As I promised in the beginning of the week, today a little talk-tutorial how I did my eye-look for the soft glowy look I was sporting. Off course you can make the colours more intense or less to your likings. I did this look because I was keen on using my Naked Palette and I really love it, colours are beautifull and superpigmented!
This look is really simple and only consists of 3 eyeshadows and an eyeliner pencil, I'm still learning the ropes you know. Let's have a look at the colours I used, you can use similar colours from other brands to recreate this as well. Pictures were made when I got home in the middle of the night, so excuse the bit of smudging on sides of my eyes and messy brows :).JPG)
1. Virgin: highlighter in the inner corner of your eye and right underneath your eyebrow (this colour doesn't show well on camera)2. Half baked: apply this over your moving eyelid as intense as you want and blend it out to your eyebrow
3. Hustle: apply in your crease and outer corner of eye - blend these two and apply also on the lashline below
4. Finish with a -soft- black eyeliner pencil and mascara
Yes, I wear contacts !(and the shadow got a bit smudged from rubbing but this was the only decent picture I had)
