Product Praise: NARS Deep Throat blush
Today I'm going to talk about my favourite blush product! I love subtle blushes, I don't like those heavy-in-your-face-colours which make me look like a clown on my fair skin. I first heard about NARS like a year ago through some beauty blogs. It's not available in my country, sadly enough so I decided not to pay too much attention to it as I couldn't see it in real life. But it kept on popping up everywhere I looked and after a few months I decided I couldn't live without owing at least a NARS blush, I had to have one. After seeing countless swatches I went for the Deep Throat - not the popular Orgasm - because this one would suit my fair skin better. My bf had a blast on the names :). I ordered it online through kissandmakeup, highly recommended store for NARS/Laura Mercier supplies!
I was thrilled when the parcel was delivered a week later, I opened it and immediately loved it! Packaging is simple but I love the soft black from the case. Here's a close-up of the colour, a pinkpeach supporting some shimmer:
Swatches of the product (this wasn't easy - I applied more than a healthy dose and the camera doesn't pick it up!), the light shimmers are visible and a hint of the colour:
And here it is on my cheeks in different lighting - in real life it looks even better (first one on the left represents it best):
Oh how I love it... I've had it for several months now and I use it a lot, I always seem to reach for it. NARS blushes aren't cheap but you get almost 5g for the price, so it will last quite long - depending on how much you apply. My pan isn't close to being visible and I've used it for a few months now. After applying I also use a setting powder, to make it last longer. I recommend this product to everyone with fair-medium skin, it's a must-have in your stash!

Lijkt me een hele mooie blush!
waaw die lijkt me super mooi
brunette: ja, inderdaad maar via deze winkel is het goedkoper, de narseushop is duur qua product+verzending, vandaar dat ik deze verkies
tessa: ja, is ie ook :D
Hi, again :) Can I just ask you, when ordering from kissandmakeupny.com aren't you required to pay extra on Customs or sth like that? I have not been experimenting with orders from the US as I am worried I'll be asked to pay extra on customs.
I've ordered from them once and the order was for about 80-90$ but she sends it in a bubble envelope if possible, not a package and they rarely get picked out by customs. I order a lot from the US and about 80% of the time I don't have to pay a fee, 15% of the times the fee is 10euros for inspection services. The only thing you don't want to order from the US, is perfume because of heavy tax on it. Hope this helps!
you have beautiful skin! I have Orgasm so I never bothered to look at Deep Throat but I'm really curious to try this one out. I'm a new follower by the way. Come check my blog out too? : )
Hey lucy and welcome, I'll be checking you out as well!!
I was doubting between orgasm and deep throat but eventually went for deep throat because it's less sparkly and a bit more subtle for everyday use. Orgasm is quite heavy, I have the multiple of orgasm and I also like it, but honestly I prefer deep throat. I'm curious what you'll think of it.
