Nuxe is a brand which I've already talked about a few times in my reviews and overall I really like their products, I just adore French pharmacy brands... Nuxe also offers, apart from skin care, a body care line and a make up line. Today we'll have a peek in their all-purpose-line along with one of their star products... their multi-usage dry oil!
EFFECTIVE BY NATURE Huile Prodigieuse is a dry oil with a unique superactivated formula combining 30% Precious Plant Oils and Vitamin E to nourish, repair and soften face, body and hair in a single gesture.
PRECIOUS BENEFITS FOR MY SKIN Face and body are soft and velvety. Hair is supple, glossy and full of volume.
STAR ACTIVE INGREDIENTS A unique cocktail of 6 Precious Plant Oils (Borage, St Johnswort, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnut, Macadamia) with a subtlefragrance for a velvety skin, silky hair and an improved overall aspect of stretch marks
Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Octyldodecanol, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Hypericum Perforatum (hypericum Perforatum Extract), Prunus Dulcis (sweet Almond Oil), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (octinoxate), Camelia Oleifera (camellia Oleifera Extract), Borago Officinalis (borage Seed Oil), Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Fragrance, Tocopherol.'
It's packed in a glass bottle that comes in a 50ml or 100ml (19 or 30euros), it's also available in an Or version, with lots of shimmers but I prefer this one. You can buy it in pharmacies, IU-stores and in various online stores as well. It has a gold dop and a spray, which I like for usage - tiny downside is that the spray can be a bit too wide/too harsh and cover the ground/air instead of the skin you intented to spray upon. The bottle itself is quite heavy and it has a very luxurious feeling.
You can use this on your face, body and hair - I've tried them all three but I prefer to use it on my body. It contains fragrance, my face's skin is a bit too sensitive in that matter. On my hair it's a bit too greasy. But on my body it's perfect. The scent is immensely hard to describe, I adore it! It's a fresh and warm scent at the same time, this is probably really helpfull to you but I'm sure this is a scent that everyone would like. It rubs out easily and leaves a very dewy look. Although it looks yellow in the bottle, it's colourless when applied to the skin. I find this to be very nurturing and softening, I often apply it after a bath and when I'm in pyamas I just smell divine - I love it when the scent lingers on... I've had my bottle for almost a year now and I still have a bit left, I don't use it weekly but often enough - I guess I just want to preserve what I have left now instead of having to buy a new bottle, which is typical me... After spraying it's important to rub in the product, don't spray too much or you'll just end up with a greasy feeling! Afterwards your skin does indeed feel velvety soft...
The bads: inconvenient spray, price
Yes, I love this product and will probably end up buying it again and again... It's not a cheap one, but it doesn't cost a fortune either and it's important to take care of your body. I can recommend this to anyone with any skin type. Try it and I'm positively sure you' ll become hooked on it as well!
